Lawful Overdose Page 7
Wow.
His words entrap me and for the first time ever, I think I want to be the other half in a relationship. I want to be Jaxon’s.
“Someone's messed you up and you think all you deserve is random hook ups and a dick to get off on. Well, I’m not that hook up. I’ll gladly be the dick you get off on, regularly, but that will have to wait until you’re ready… and I’ll know you’re ready when you decide to use a different word than fuck when referring to us being intimate. I’m not opposed to fucking, but that’s not the only kind of sex there is.”
Jaxon moves in and gently kisses my forehead. I’m lightheaded from the feel of his lips.
“You can stay or you can go. I’m not going to force you to sleep here after what just happened. If you want to go, I’ll call you a cab to make sure you get home safe. If you want to stay, we can share the bed and go to sleep. The choice is yours, but I really hope you decide to stay.”
I look into his eyes and I can’t imagine walking away right now, and that scares me more than anything.
“I’ll stay,” I let out in a faint whisper.
He kisses my forehead again before moving to his dresser. I watch him pull out a t-shirt from the second drawer before tossing it in my direction. I slip it on over my bra and crawl onto his bed, slipping under the comforter. I lay on my side, facing away from him. I feel a dip of the mattress, letting me know Jaxon is getting in bed, too. His arm wraps around my stomach and his chest pushes up against my back, spooning me.
This is a first for me. I never share a bed with a man. I’ve definitely never spooned with a guy, not even Mikey. It surprisingly feels good to be in his arms. I feel his nose in my hair as I hear him inhale a deep breath.
“You smell terrific. I’m going to enjoy waking up to you.”
I don’t know what to say to him. This is all new territory for me, so I decide not to say anything at all.
“Goodnight, Tessa,” he whispers into my hair.
I smile at his words. It’s been a good night, and I’m glad I spent it with him.
“Goodnight, Jaxon.”
His arms squeeze me impossibly closer to him and his warmth radiates through my skin. I don’t remember much afterward because my eyes start to drift closed. Within minutes I’ve fallen asleep in Jaxon’s arms, the only place I want to be.
Chapter Six
Kinky
My eyes flutter open from the bright light coming through the open window. My eyes open and adjust to the room and I realize I’m not at home. Last night comes flooding back to me.
Seeing Jaxon at the restaurant… then the motel… our picnic under the stars… coming back to his apartment and almost fucking on his bed. There’s that dirty word again, fuck. I remember the shockingly sweet speech he gave me before we went to bed, and the way he held me before I fell asleep.
Last night was one of the best nights of my life, and I barely know the guy.
I look over to the spot next to me in bed, and Jaxon’s not there. I move my eyes to the clock on the nightstand.
1:09 pm.
Shit.
I’ve slept half the day away. I wonder why Jaxon didn’t wake me? I wonder where he is? Did he leave the apartment? Is he in the shower? Are Piper and Ryan still here?
Instead of continuing to ask myself questions I cannot answer, I get up to find out for myself. I look around Jaxon’s room for my dress, but it’s nowhere to be found. I don’t want to walk out of the room in just his t-shirt, especially if his roommate is here.
I open the top drawer of his dresser, looking for something to put on. I see a folded stack of boxers and I grab a pair. My eyes drift, looking at the contents of the drawer. Boxers, socks, undershirts, handcuffs-
Handcuffs?
Why does Jaxon have handcuffs in his top drawer? He is a kinky bastard. I let my mind wander to all the things he can do to me with those handcuffs. Maybe he really isn’t a prude. I just hope I get to find out what he uses them for.
I close the drawer before Jaxon can walk in and see me rummaging through his things. I leave his bedroom and walk into the living room. I still don’t see Jaxon.
I hear noise coming from the kitchen, so I try there next. When I walk in, Jaxon is pouring a cup of coffee. He’s in a basic black t-shirt and jeans. His hair is damp, probably from showering.
Great. He looks like a million bucks and I look like I could be asking for money on the street. I watch him put the coffee pot back in place and reach in the fridge for creamer. It’s the same kind I use.
Maybe we are meant to be together.
I watch him for a few more seconds before his head lifts and he turns towards the entryway.
“Good morning, sunshine.”
“Great,” I moan. “You’re one of those morning people, aren’t you? I’ve read about your kind. You wake up before dawn, work out before work, and you probably enjoy eating a balanced, nutritious breakfast.”
He laughs at my rant.
“You are aware it’s the afternoon, right? That hardly makes me a morning person.”
“Yes, but we went to bed practically at dawn. You’re up, you’ve showered and you look… it’s just not fair how you look.”
He hands me the cup of coffee he just made. I watch him move to the freezer where he grabs a prepared bowl of ice cream with a spoon hanging from the side.
“Follow me,” he commands.
We leave the kitchen and sit down on the sofa in the living room. I watch him as he places the bowl of ice cream on the coffee table and turns to me.
“I hope I prepared this right. It’s not everyday my house guest has coffee with ice cream for breakfast.”
I stare at him.
I just stare.
I don't have any idea what to say. I didn’t think men like him existed. In the last five minutes, he’s managed to do the most thoughtful thing that has happened to me in the last six years.
“You’re quiet this morning. Are you more alert once you’ve had your bowl of sugar, sunshine?”
He’s teasing me. His morning banter is so natural, I feel like we’ve known each other for years, not two days.
“Pinch me,” I whisper to him.
“Why would I pinch you?”
“Because, you can’t be real. Last night, you protect my virtue, or lack thereof, and today, after only knowing me for two days, you have my breakfast ready and waiting for me. I must be dreaming, because no guy normally does this shit.”
“Maybe I’m not a normal guy.”
I tilt my head and raise my eyebrows in amusement at what he’s just said.
“You know what I mean.”
I take a spoonful of ice cream and let it sit on my tongue. The coolness hits the spot and I‘m instantly more alert. I take a sip of my coffee to feel the comforting warmth. I didn’t think it was possible, but he’s prepared my coffee better than I do.
I finish my breakfast in silence while Jaxon reads the newspaper. Every so often I can feel him watching me from the corner of his eye. When I finish with my ice cream and coffee, I stand up to go put them in the sink.
“Nice boxers,” Jaxon yells from the living room.
“You like?” I ask when I walk back in from the kitchen. I do a girly twirl so he can get a full view of his boxers on me.
“You look hot. Much better than the way I look in them.”
“Thank you, but that’s debatable. I’ve seen your body and it’s nothing to get shy about.”
Jaxon sets the newspaper on the coffee table and gets up from the sofa.
“We should get your stuff together so I can drive you home. I have to work in a little bit.”
I’m a little disappointed that I won’t be spending the day with him. I have the night off from Ryder’s tonight so I was looking forward to spending some time with him.
“Okay.”
“Your clothes from last night are hanging in my closet. I washed them this morning,” he says as we walk into his bedroom.
“I was
right, you are a morning person,” I gasp. “That’s it, we can’t be friends.”
He laughs at my sarcastic comment. “Lucky for you, I’ve set a higher goal for myself. Friends just isn’t going to cut it with us.”
“That’s right, I forgot. You want to own me, but you won’t fuck me.”
I grab my dress and shoes from the inside of his closet. I place them on the bed and look up at Jaxon.
“Why is it so hard for you to believe that I want to fuck you?” Jaxon asks me.
I place my hand on my hip, “Because you had your chance last night, and you didn’t take it.”
“I explained why I didn’t last night. I thought you understood. It wasn’t easy for me to stop, but I had to… for you.”
I think about his words for a second, but it still doesn’t add up. I mean he has handcuffs in his underwear drawer, for goodness sake. This is not a man that is worried about using a woman.
I walk past him and over to his dresser, opening the top drawer. I pull out the handcuffs and dangle them in front of his face with my pointer finger.
“The man who has handcuffs as a sex toy is worried about the fact that I’ve never been told no?”
His face turns white, as his eyes stay focused on the silver bracelets I’m dangling in front of me.
“How did you know I have those?” He asks worriedly.
“I saw them when I was trying to find boxers to cover up with this morning. Don’t worry, your secret's safe with me.”
He pulls his hand through his hair; I’m starting to see a pattern with this. This is his nervous tick.
“It’s not what you think. Those aren’t for…” Jaxon pauses. It’s obvious he’s not sure what to say.
“These aren’t for what, Jaxon? These aren’t for sex. Are you trying to tell me you don’t use these in kinky foreplay? I’m a little disappointed.”
His facial expression changes and the color starts to come back to his face.
“Disappointed… huh. Are you implying you would want me to use them on you?”
What is wrong with this man? He won’t make a move on me, but now he wants to flirt with me. Tease me.
“I guess that doesn’t really matter since you made it very clear that you aren’t going to touch me until you, what was that again… oh right, until you own me. News flash, Jaxon, I’m not a piece of property. You can’t take ownership of me and then sell the deed off when you’re done.”
Jaxon walks over to me, slowly, seductively. My eyes stay on his the entire time, never loosing eye contact. I feel the handcuffs being loosened from my grip, and now Jaxon has them in his hold.
“I never said I wasn’t going to touch you, I said I wasn’t going to fuck you. I need you to see that what we have between us is real. Until then, you’re right, I’m not going to fuck you.”
His hand reaches out to grab one side of my head as his face moves to the other side. I can feel his hot breath against my ear. It creates tingles running down my skin.
“Do you trust me?” He whispers, huskily.
I know I shouldn’t trust him, I barely know him and he’s given me no reason to trust him. In fact, he’s constantly playing the hot and cold game, like we’re a bunch of middle school kids. But I do trust him and I want him to know that.
“Yes,” I squeak back. I can barely recognize the sound of my own voice.
“Good. I think you’re so feisty this morning, because you’re still hot and bothered from last night. You weren’t able to release all the tension that was built up between us. I’m going to fix that.”
He pulls me into him and I’m caught off guard. I grab on to his shoulders for balance. Jaxon moves us over to the bed and lays me down on the mattress.
“You’re right, I do need release, but you must be rocking a serious case of blue balls from all the dry humping we did.”
“I took care of that this morning. I jacked off in the shower, thinking of your incredible body the entire time. I only wish I came in your mouth instead of shooting against the shower wall.”
I can’t believe he just admitted that to me. I’m probably clinically insane; because that line was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me.
“Now, close your eyes,” he demands.
I obey immediately. I feel the cool metal of the handcuffs against my warm skin before he clicks a bracelet in place. He tugs my arm gently as I hear the metal drag against wood. Then I feel the other silver bracelet being cuffed against my other wrist.
“You can open your eyes now.”
My eyes flutter open and I instinctively try to move my hands. I am cuffed to something. I tilt my head back to see that the chain of the cuffs is looped behind a wooden rod on his bed frame. I move my eyes back down to him.
“As fun as it is to have limited mobility, you’ve had your fun. You can un-cuff me now.”
“Nope,” he says to me as he moves on top of the bed to straddle my lower legs. I feel the palms of his hands touch my calves; it feels like a bolt of electricity just shot through my body.
“What are you doing?” I whisper huskily, as my eyes roll to the back of my head. Jaxon’s hands are drifting up the inside of my thighs, creating the most delicious feeling.
“I’m helping you with your tension, I think you need to climax.”
I moan at his words as my core starts to stir to life.
“I thought you weren’t going to fuck me.”
Jaxon removes the boxers and his hands move to the trim of my lace thong. I feel his fingers gently move to rub my clit in circles over my lace panties.
“Shit…” I whisper.
“You better start thinking of another word to use, otherwise we may never have sex.” His fingers stop rubbing me in circles and I feel him grab hold of my lace panties. In one quick tug, he removes them from my body.
My hands try to move to grab hold of him, grab hold of something, but I’m completely restrained.
“I’m a man of my word, Tessa. I’m not going to fuck you, but I am going to make you come.”
Mother. Fucking. Holy. Shit.
I almost come from his words alone. I’ve never been with someone so in charge in bed. I didn’t think I would like something like this. I suddenly wonder where men like Jaxon have been all my life.
He pulls his shirt slowly up above my waist, revealing my bare bottom half to him. I arch my back in an uncontrollable need for him to touch me.
“Un-cuff me… please. I want to touch you.”
That’s when I feel Jaxon’s lips touch my stomach. He starts to kiss, suck, and nip the sensitive skin around my belly button. His tongue darts in and out, mimicking what I want him to do to my pussy.
“Please,” I moan.
“I can’t do that, Tessa. I’m barely holding on to my self control,” he murmurs against my skin. “If I let you touch me, I won’t be able to stop. No more protesting, let me give this to you.”
His mouth moves lower down my body. I feel his lips kiss my lower stomach, my pelvis, and then he kisses my clit.
“Oh… fuck,” I scream from the sensation. As quickly as his mouth is on me, it’s gone. I’m about to scream in frustration when I feel his tongue lick my slit, sliding up until he reaches my clit again. His tongue starts to make slow circles and I can feel my orgasm start to build.
“Jaxon...” I moan softly, as he works his tongue against me. That’s when I feel a finger plunge deep inside me.
“Yes,” I scream.
He starts to pump inside me with his finger while his tongue continues it’s delicious torture on my clit. I feel like a volcano, waiting to erupt. My desire keeps building and when Jaxon adds a second finger inside me, my orgasm takes over my body.
“Jaxon,” I scream as the waves of ecstasy take over. My legs feel numb and my body feels sated and thankful. Jaxon continues his assault on my core until the very last pulse of my orgasm is over.
His mouth releases me and moves up my body. He kisses my breasts over his shirt
, my neck, my cheek and then my mouth. I kiss him back hard, thanking him with my lips because I can’t find the words to speak.
Jaxon breaks the kiss as his fingers move from deep inside me. He brings them up to his mouth and licks them clean, never breaking eye contact with me.
“What a fine delicacy you are, Tessa.”
His lips come back to mine as we kiss passionately. I can taste myself on his tongue, and I surprisingly like it. After several minutes of tonsil hockey, Jaxon ends the kiss and grabs the key to the cuffs from his drawer. He gently un-cuffs each bracelet and rubs my wrists, tenderly.
“That was incredible,” I whisper, as his hands leave mine.
“I thought so, too.” His words make me look down at his jeans. I can see a massive hard on and all I can think about is reciprocating. I want to feel Jaxon in my mouth. I imagine what he must taste like and in that moment, I know I must have him.
I move over to him on the bed and my hands reach for his jeans. I start to unbutton them when Jaxon darts off the bed.
“What are you doing?”
I roll my eyes at his stupid question. “What does it look like I’m doing? I want to suck you off. I want to reciprocate.”
Jaxon’s eyes go from shocked to tender in the blink of an eye.
“Tessa,” he says, as he moves to sit next to me on the bed. “That was for you. I wanted to do that for you, no strings attached. Any form of intimacy should never feel as if it needs to be reciprocated. If you ever feel that way, or your partner ever implies it, then you shouldn’t be with that person.
“I wanted to make you come, knowing very well that I would not come. That’s okay with me and you need to learn to be okay with that, too.”
I look at this man in front of me, wondering where he came from.
“But I want to give you a blowjob. It’s not because of reciprocation, it’s because I’m dying to taste you, to feel you in my mouth.”
“Some other time,” he softly says to me, as he leans forward and kisses my forehead. “We’ve got to go or I’m going to be late for work.”
